Skyhorse Publishing

Skyhorse Publishing is an independent book publisher located in New York City.
Launched in late 2006 by American publisher Tony Lyons, the company is dedicated to originating interesting, entertaining, informative books that large publishers sometimes ignore. Skyhorse publishes books in the areas of sports (both team and individual), narrative non-fiction, history and military history, nature and conservation, gambling, hobbies, rural living, business, and maverick titles in a variety of other niches.
Its senior staff includes Associate Publisher Bill Wolfsthal, Senior Editor Mark Weinstein, and Senior Editor Brando Skyhorse (after whom the company is named).
