The Sky Serpent class heavy fighter is the main fighter of the Drazi Freehold in the fictional universe of Babylon 5. An older fighter, the Sky Serpent's rugged design and capable performance in battle so impressed the militaries of the Narn Regime and Earth Alliance, that they copied many features of the Sky Serpent in designing their own fighters. The Sky Serpent is heavily armored and can survive multiple hits from enemy fighters. However, it is also slower and less-maneuverable in battle than the new fighter designs of other alien races. The Sky Serpent is typically carried on the back of a larger Drazi warship and is launched only in times of battle.
