Skukuza is the main camp in Kruger National Park. It is also the largest and it is situated on the banks of the Sabie River. It has lots of historical sites including 3 museums and a library. There is also a camp centre which consists of shops and restaurants. Also a main reception where you can organize game drives, bush braais and guided walks through Kruger. Besides the basics a camp needs, Skukuza also has 2 swimming pools, a golf course, a police station, a post office and even a bank. These shops and facilities are surrounded by different sized huts and guest houses. All the guest houses and huts come with an outdoor braai perfect for evening grills.

[edit] Gameviewing

Skukuza is located in the south of Kruger and is the most popular camp. It is one of the best for game viewing in Kruger. Around the camp all of the African Big Five can be found as well as other recognisable and exciting animals. The camp itself over looks the Sabie River which thrives with wildlife. The stretch go right next to Skukuza is the home to countless hippos and the trees growing next to the river are home to very loud Chacma Baboons.
