iWoorx.com is a web service that provides wiki spreadsheets using only a web browser. It is part of a genre of new web 2.0 portals that provide specific targeted web applications for sharing information. Another example of this type of web service is 37signals. It's primary code is open source.
iWoorx (http://www.iwoorx.com) uses the wikiCalc® by Software Garden® as its wiki spreadsheet engine. The purpose of the portal is to provide simple spreadsheet collaboration for business users.
The target user is a knowledge worker who interfaces with several internal and external colleagues and exchanges business information by email and spreadsheet attachments.
The system went online in January 2007 with basic test drive "tutorials" to acquaint potential users as well as IT professionals and developers with some interactive examples of wiki spreadsheet functionality.
