Has the (World of Spectrum) download linked to in the article really been verified as "legal" or is it just "grey-area legal" like most online tapes? Some speccy games have been "released" by their copyright holders and are therefore legal but I didn't think Skool Daze was one of them. --ledow 00:36, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

I believe that World of Spectrum only hosts legal downloads. Tim 16:24, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Not true. Except in a few cases, where the copyright holder could be found (not always the original author!), any download is hosted unless and until it has been specifically denied (e.g. games by Code Masters). 86.142.246.183 07:17, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

I added the link (and created the article) I added it because i was sure that WOS asks the copyright holders and/or the game's creators for permission Doc Strange 20:18, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
WOS's policy is to actively contact copyright holders requesting permission to make their IP available for download. If the request is denied then the IP is removed from availablity. --Zagrebo 11:46, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Skooldaze1.jpg

Image:Skooldaze1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
