Having the albums as pictures but the singles as tabels is stupid. I'd like the albums to be as an table to!

Anthrax and Megadeth, "similar" to Skid Row? Puh-lease. They may have been tamer thrash bands, but they weren't much like this band.

[edit] Heavy metal or hard rock?

The first sentence seems to me to contradict itself : "an American heavy metal band which became the hard rock prototypes of the late 1980s metal scene"... So is Skid Row a hard rock band or a heavy metal band?? It can't be both! Besides, this sentence, even if it made sense doesn't really pass the test of NPOV... who says Skid Row is "the hard rock prototype of the late 1980s"? I certainly don't think so... Diffenitly Heavy Metal, in fact their early sound was Hair Metal and their later sound was basically Thrash & borderline Groove Metal, this should be written in.

I got rid of Skid Row being called "glam metal". They are not glam or hair metal - actually, they were one of the few metal bands in the 80's who were neither; they were hard rock/metal.

The new Skid Row isn't really Skid Row anymore. With Sebastian Bach gone, Affuso gone. Skid Row scored success with their first three albums and scored two major hits on the chart with 18 & Life and I Remember You.

Sebastian Bach's vocals are one-of-a-kind and Solinger will never ever have the same success as the old Skid Row.

My advice: Forget THE NEW SKID ROW.

-Hair metal were Poison & Firehouse etc. Glam Metal were Diamond Rexx & early Crue.

-Since Sebastian Bach leaving, Skid Row has become average. Just stay heavy metal, forget changing with the times.

I seem to recall that there was a lawsuit filed by Skid Row against Jon Bon Jovi because he was getting 90% of their royalties for "discovering" them. This might be worth mentioning, if a citation can be found. JediLofty 09:48, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

Anyone else find it ironic that they were 'eclipsed' by grunge bands out of Seattle. Skid Row is a term that originated in Seattle. But Skid Row the band is from New Jersey. -- Suso 13:55, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

In this article it says that the band purchased the name from the older Irish band also named Skid Row, but in the article about the original Skid Row it says that that band has always been angry for the US Skid Row stealing their name. I removed decently or remotely (I can't remember) from this page as this band was very successful at its peak.
