Skitliv (Swedish for Shit life) is a Norwegian black-/doom metal band founded in 2005 by former Mayhem frontman Maniac.
Maniac describes the project as "firmly rooted in black metal" but "much darker and more brooding than anything he has done before." Their debut, with a planned title of "Humanity Has Lost All Pride," is due for release in 2007. "There are six tracks of a planned eight finished", according to Maniac.
