Skinnamarink TV

Skinnamarink TV is a children's television show that was shot from 1997 to 1998 and aired on CBC in Canada and The Learning Channel in the US. It stars Sharon, Lois and Bram and their two new characters CC Copy Cat, a sarcastic blue feline played by Dwayne Adams, and Ella Acapella, a young female elephant, played by Tikka Smiley (neÄ— Sherman).

The show included many skits and musical bits with Sharon, Lois & Bram acting as many different characters. Along with children, Sharon, Lois & Bram opertate the fictional TV station.

Produced by CBC Television in conjunction with Elephant Entertainment, Sharon, Lois and Bram's production company, the show can still be seen in syndication on many children's stations internationally.

In 2002, Skinnamarink TV won a Juno Award for performances on their series.

The name of the show is derived from "Skinnamarink," a popular children's song that Sharon, Lois and Bram sung with the end credis of The Elephant Show and became their signature song using it to end live conerts and most every performance. Lyrics: "Skinnamarinky dinky dink Skinnamarinky do. I love you. Skinnamarinky dinky dink Skinnamarinky do I love you. I love you in the morning and in the afternoon. I Love you in the evening and underneath the moon! Skinnamarinky dinky dink, Skinnamarinky do, I love you -- {Sharon} I love your singing -- I Love you -- {Lois} You're all terrific! -- I love you! {Bram} We'll see you next time! -- I LOVE YOU! TOO, BOO, BOO BE DO!" {blow a kiss.}
