Skillset

Skillset is the Sector Skills Council for Creative Media in the UK. It was founded by David Puttnam, and is jointly funded by industry and government. The industries covered include:

  • Animation
  • Commercials
  • Computer Games
  • Corporate Production
  • Facilities
  • Film
  • Interactive Media
  • Photo Imaging
  • Publishing
  • Radio
  • TV

Skillset currently recognises six[1] Screen Academies as centres of excellence. These include the London Film School, London College of Communication, Screen Academy Scotland, and Screen Academy Wales
