Skiing in Victoria, Australia.

The major ski resorts in Victoria are:

• Falls Creek
• Mount Hotham
• Mount Buller

Each of these resorts has websites.

Minor resorts are:

• Mt Buffalo - run by national parks. A good beginners area and cross country area. The Mt Buffalo Chalet regularly runs weekend-long ski classes for beginners, specialising in families and older people.
• Mt Baw Baw - in Gippsland.

Cross country only resorts are:

• Lake Mountain
• Mount Saint Gwinear
• Mount Stirling
• Mount Donna Buang (mostly tourist snow).

Resorts proposed for development that never occurred:

• Mount Torbreck

Popular areas for back country skiing and ski touring in the Alpine National Park, Yarra Ranges National Park and the Baw Baw National Park include:

• Mount Bogong
• Mount Feathertop
• Bogong High Plains
• Mount Howitt
• Mount Reynard
• Snowy Plains
