Skierbieszów

Skierbieszów is a castle and village in Lublin Voivodship, Zamość County, Poland, on the river Wolica, about 70 km to the southeast from Lublin. The Polish inhabitants of Skierbieszów were expelled in November 1942 to make room for German settlers. The village was renamed Heidenstein until the occupation of the region by Soviet forces in 1944.
