Skid steer

A skid steer is a vehicle manoeuvred by skid steering, a method of steering by braking or driving tracks or wheels on one side of a vehicle. They include:

  • Skid-steered tracked vehicles
  • Skid-steer, skid steer loader or skid loader, a small, usually wheeled vehicle used for loading and digging
