I noticed your comment on WikiProject Medicine. Feel free to join (and also WikiProject Medical Genetics) as you don't need to be qualified, and plenty members are students. Have a look at the list of participants and their speciality. If you find someone with knowledge to check your contributions, I'm sure they'd be delighted to help you get started on wiki.
