[edit] Spam in InfoPrint Solutions Company
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on InfoPrint Solutions Company, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because InfoPrint Solutions Company is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting InfoPrint Solutions Company, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] Response to comment on DragonflySixtyseven's talk page
The article was tagged for deletion by a different user, not by Dragonfly. There are a huge number of spam articles created every week, so it is not unusual for them to be promptly tagged and deleted; I don't think Dragonfly did anything objectively wrong. I undeleted the article so you have more time to improve it. Try to find some third-party sources that discuss the company. If there are no such sources, then Wikipedia probably shouldn't have an article on the company. The article isn't tagged for deletion at the moment, but if no sources are provided it probably will eventually be tagged again. — Carl (CBM · talk) 01:04, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thank you for the clarification
I appreciate the clarification. My main concern was the speed with which the article was removed. I had even followed the guidelines for contesting the spam designation. It appeared to be a rather summary execution. I addressed this problem on Dragonfly's talk page because that was the only name indicated in the deletion log. I can find a significant number of third-party references that talk about this company and will do so promptly. Your feedback is appreciated. I only wish that this was the initial response. You have restored my faith in the process. If after some due diligence is done on my part, the article is still reasonably viewed as inappropriate, I will feel that it has had its chance.
