[edit] Proposal: merge this information onto main skewness page
This information does not stand alone. It both depends and expands upon the information present in the main article. Logically, it should be part of that article. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 198.103.184.76 (talk) 17:04, 15 March 2007 (UTC).

Skewness risk denotes an economical problem and should not be included in the mathematical/statistical definition of skewness.Rgomes1997 14:30, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
Agreed.-- I think the inclusion of this article onto the main skewness page gives both subjects a better understanding. I agree that skewness risk does denote an economical problem but the fundamental content is one of general statistics. It should obviously have it's own section, but should be included. [edit] merger might be not good
skewness article can just take care of skewness the concept itself while skewness risk is related to skewness, but not a part of it. Jackzhp 02:12, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- Agree - for exactly the reasons given Ben Hocking (talk|contribs) 19:50, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
I agree with it not being merged. It is an important aspect of the theroy, but it is stand alone in its economic importance. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 156.56.171.110 (talk) 19:45, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
