  • Revised introduction - and extended scope to provide more discussion of sketch in the drawing sense (as there is no discussion of this at all on the 'sketch' page of wikipedia)
  • Included a new section 'what is a sketch' to outline the various purposes of and reasons why sketches are made
  • Introduced new section 'Online and digital sketchbooks'. Lots of sketchbooks have now been reproduced as digital images and can be accessed via the internet. This section is split between historial and contemporary sketchbooks of note. It's intended that this section should largely focus on sketchbooks of some importance.
  • Introduced new section 'External Links'

Not had time to include all the links (which come from another project I was working on) and will finish this tomorrow.

Also need to investigate the scope to link between wiki sections re the sketchbooks of note Cosmopolitancats 01:52, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

Whoops - I missed the fact that there is an article on sketch (visual drawing) - will edit to provide a link.

Also updates to compelte links to external resources and other relevant pages within Wikipedia Cosmopolitancats 16:03, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] External Links

Any links to individuals in the external links needs to be

  • because they are notable individuals - see the wikipedia guidance on notability
  • related to an entry up above
  • should ideally be to the website which gives them notability rather their own website

On this basis - having tried and failed to validate the claim re Paul Ryan and the imperial war museum I have removed the reference to this individual who I don't think qualifies as notable. If he does then the notable entry for the individual needs to be written and a link made to that by way of help with the citation.Cosmopolitancats 01:59, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
