[edit] Picture
It would be helpful if someone could find a picture with Skeets' modern appearance. - 66.93.144.171 11:16, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
- That's a picture of Skeets ripped from a 52 cover. Blame the artist. ACS (Wikipedian); Talk to the Ace. See what I've edited. 20:07, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

- Sorry, that's not what he looks like in 52. I don't know what you mean by "ripped from", but if this is a cutout of part of a cover image, I think you missed some of his parts. [EDIT] Nope, you're right, JG Jones seems intent on depicting Skeets with twisted fins instead of the floating tubes he actually sports inside the book. Maybe someone could supply a more relevant picture of Skeets, since the cover shot is inaccurate. 12.22.250.4 22:34, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

- I thought about getting an image scanner, but changed my mind when I consider how little use I thought I'd get out of it. Ha! Oh well. I do have that six page preview thing DC released for the first issue. I've ripped—it means taken from. In Skeets' cases, taken from a larger image—a medium-sized faurly decent image of Skeets inside the issue, tubes and all. I've uploaded it and I'll add it to the article. If necessary, I can blank his "how cool is that?" speech bubble so it's just white. ACS (Wikipedian); Talk to the Ace. See what I've edited. 23:27, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 'This quote would suggest he is the Anti Monitor.'
A clue was revealed in the following quote from, Skeets: "Do you know where the golden metal that makes my body impervious to the ravages of time portals comes from? Do you know whose corpse it was burned off? Discovered in a deep grave five hundred years from now?" This quote would suggest he is the Anti Monitor.
Would it? I interpreted that bit to mean that he was made from Waverider, whom he was killing at the time. In any case, unless I'm mistaken, this is pretty obviously just speculation.--Joseph Q Publique 00:33, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- I agree. In fact, here's an excerpt from 52 (comics) on the same subject: Skeets kills Waverider and hides his body for it to be uncovered five hundred years from now, when his melted metal skin will be used in Skeets' manufacture.--SilentJustice 00:40, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 52: Week 51 [SPOILERS!]
Seeing as how "Skeets" isn't really Skeets, as revealed in Week 51, I was wondering what we should do with this article. I guess the character history can lead up to his death at the start of 52 and then link to the evil Skeets' real identity. Thoughts? --Semidelicious 19:55, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
Mention what happens in #51 and then wait until the final issue settles everything. Once we know what's important, the current 52 stuff can be summarized down to a paragraph. Aexia 22:32, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
