Skaneateles Lake (elev. 863. ft) is not "the highest of the lakes." Nearby Otisco Lake (elev.1191 ft.) is higher. Text revised accordingly. Phmalo 20:28, 28 December 2006 (UTC)


Correction: elevation of Otisco Lake (above) is erroneous on DeLorme topo map. USGS topo and other sources give it as 788 feet. Text returned to previous version. Phmalo 21:00, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

Correction: a Lightning is NOT a sailing dinghy. They are about 19 feet long, with centerboard. Definitely not a dinghy. Owlhunter 16:56, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
