Skank is the self-titled debut album by Brazilian rock band Skank. Released independently in 1992 with 3,000 copies, the album sold 1,200 in 45 days[1] and drew the attention of SonyBMG[2], who re-released the album in its new Chaos label. The album sold approximately 250 thousand copies[3].
Skank had the hits "Tanto" (a version in Portuguese for Bob Dylan's "I want you"[2] , #63 in 1993)[4], "O Homem Que Sabia Demais" (#85, also in 1993)[4] and "In(dig)nação" (#84 in 1994)[5].
