Skanör is a part of Skanör-Falsterbo in Vellinge Municipality, southwestern Skåne, Sweden. City facilities include hotels, restaurants, a harbour, an old church and an elementary school. A greenbelt called Skanörs vångar will be a new residential area in Skanör-Falsterbo.

[edit] The Harbour

The Harbour of Skanör is not so large. It is a fishing harbour. In the summer, there is a market called Sillamarknaden with a funfair and a beer tent.
