Skagaströnd

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Skagaströnd is a town in northern Iceland, near the Húnaflói fjord. It has a normal population of approximately 650 inhabitants, but this swells in the summer because of the fishing industry.

The Mayor of Skagaströnd is Magnús B. Jónsson. Nearby Kálfhamarsvík is considered one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in Iceland.
