[edit] Comments
I'm a fan of the long algebraic system; if you prefer just regular algebraic, I'm fine with that. Linuxbeak | Desk 02:05, May 16, 2005 (UTC)
- Nevermind; algebraic is fine. Linuxbeak | Desk 02:08, May 16, 2005 (UTC)
- Oh, I recommend using the pre tags and the like used before at WikiChess- this way if you have things like en passant or promotions, etc. you can easily notate it down without running out of space. But of course, this is the first move anwyay. ;-) -- Natalinasmpf 03:13, 16 May 2005 (UTC)
In the first game of this championship to get under way, White, played by Linuxbeak, starts with what is most likely the best-known opening move, pushing his e-pawn forward two places. We hope this move was not simply the result of exhaustive calculation by the 16-node Beowulf cluster running in his basement. Excitement mounts as we await Black (played by Project2501a)'s counter. Will this be a Sicilian? A French Defence? A Ruy Lopez, perhaps? Only time will tell.-gadfium 03:25, 16 May 2005 (UTC)
- That made me laugh. :D -- Natalinasmpf 04:34, 16 May 2005 (UTC)
- Hey, why aint anyone commenting our game?!? We actually did do a Ruy Lopez! :D Gkhan 01:15, May 17, 2005 (UTC)
- I only have so much inspiration. I am watching your game, and reserve the right to chime in. I was hoping others might be inspired to comment other games, but all the clever comments seem to be here so far.-gadfium 01:23, 17 May 2005 (UTC)

Linuxbeak has PEECEEs in his basement. I got 50 SGI Onyx 2 with 8GB of ram each working for me. Who's your daddy? Project2501a 12:32, 16 May 2005 (UTC)
My opening will be a Tenchu:Wrath of Heaven opening. NINJA!!!! Project2501a 12:34, 16 May 2005 (UTC)
Hmm, Black (User:Project2501a) says he played ...d6, but it is ...b6 which stands on the board. Sjakkalle 13:31, 18 May 2005 (UTC)
- Well it must be ...b6 he meant, considering that ...d6 is not a legal move, pawns can't move backwards. Sjakkalle 13:32, 18 May 2005 (UTC)
'zzzzzzzzz' HURRY UP
Your post was so misleading. I really thought it was checkmate for a moment there, then I saw the "k" in place of the "t". -- Natalinasmpf 00:25, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)
