Sivarama Swami is a religious leader, and guru of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.[1]

Sivarama Swami was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1949.[citation needed]

He became an initiated disciple of Srila Prabhupada in 1973 and accepted the renounced order of life, sannyasa in 1979. He joined the Governing Body Commission in 1986.[citation needed]
