There is only a sentence about Sitemap index file in Sitemaps article. But it is not enough to describe Sitemap index file fully.

If you think this is an advertisement I'll remove Tools section where is noticed about Sitemap Writer Pro. However I believe that you'll see that it is written about a free tool, so there can't be any advertisement.

OK, I'll retract the speedy tag, so you can keep working on this article. We may eventually want to merge it into Sitemaps, but I don't the harm in keeping it separate for now. - Jehochman Talk 12:09, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
