Reverting back to the previous title that was agreed upon. See the "Rename a good thing?" and the "Capitalisation in titles" discussions. The "disambiguating" is necessary because the term "Tea tree oil" alone is indeed ambiguous to many people and a long time common source of confusion. The article mentions one example in mentioning "Tea tree oil should not be confused with 'tea oil'." Including "melaleuca oil" in the title is the simplest and most useful way to do this is to use the standard Common Name/Scientific Name format.

[edit] Tea tree oil
I've moved the page back to tea tree oil. It doesn't seem like you understand the way that article names on Wikipedia work. A page move does not break previous links, so that is not a justification for moving a page back to a needlessly verbose name. The core naming convention of Wikipedia is to use the most commonly used name of something for an article. I've never seen a link to "tea tree oil" that intended something other than the oil from the melaleuca plant and even after your move "tea tree oil" ended up showing the same article. Therefore, the simplest, most common name should be used. If there were potential for confusion, which there isn't, the solution would be to create Tea tree oil (disambiguation), since the current article subject is by far the most common use of that term. Please leave the article where it is. Mike Dillon 06:53, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In the future, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thanks again. — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 20:32, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for your contributions to Wiki too. That is good advice RevRagnorak and I agree. In this case, it didn't help since it's something that occured to me later. That said, I'll try to be more careful about it. Siraj555 01:37, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Carl Sandburg Poem
Your grandmother appears to have been correct about the author. I haven't checked the book itself, but uncp.edu has a page that says it is in Sandburg's book Smoke and Steel. I bet your local library would have a copy. They call the poem 'Home Thoughts.' The article says he traveled a lot and his longing for his wife when he was away was the inspiration for the poem. --Matthew K (talk) 02:54, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
