[edit] ethno village
Hello, just wondering what is meant by "ethno village".
- Ethnically diverse?
- Ethnically sparse?
- Village whose residents emphasize culture/tradition/history?
- Probably something completely different... heh
Since there is no page on wiki for ethno village nor is it mentioned in the article Village, maybe it would be a good idea to add it somewhere, with a definition of what is meant by it (just for clarity, since I'm not quite sure what is meant by the term). :) Stop The Lies 22:34, 12 February 2007 (UTC)Stop_The_Lies
- Sirogojno itself is just an ordinary village, but there is a museum referred to as ethno village located in Sirogojno. It is actually a small set of old traditional wooden houses collected from all over Zlatibor and placed there so the tourists and those interested in history and ethnology can observe them. That's why this museum is called an ethno village (etno selo in Serbian). It is so-called "the museum under the open sky", and it's real name is "Old Village" Museum, Sirogojno (Serbian: Muzej "Staro selo", Sirogojno). --Djordje D. Bozovic 22:43, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

- OOoohhhh wow that makes a big difference. Thank you for your explanation. Maybe it would be a good idea to make it a bit more clear in the article itself, including in it what you just wrote? (I don't think the article explains that the ethno village is a museum. Stop The Lies 22:46, 12 February 2007 (UTC)Stop_The_Lies

- So I added a few things, mostly from your post. There wouldn't be a reference for any of this somewhere, would there..? Stop The Lies 00:25, 13 February 2007 (UTC)Stop_The_Lies

- I don't know what kind of reference would you like? Try this, or search the Google. --Djordje D. Bozovic 22:31, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
