[edit] Status of School

There is no such thing as a Grant Maintained school in the UK today - this category of school was abolished in 1998. Does anyone know the actual status of the school today? It would be good to get this corrected. Timothy Titus Talk To TT 04:32, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

A quick look at the link in the article give me "In 1999 the School assumed Foundation status" Pickle 16:34, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability

This is a major secondary school in Kent, and an ancient and very historic educational foundation. I am unsure why it has been tagged as possibly not notable? In any case, everyone else seems just to have ignored the tag since it was placed here several months ago. I propose that the notability tag be removed, but I'm inviting comments from others before I do so. [Incidentally, I am entirely independent of the subject - I have no connection with this school of any sort.] Timothy Titus Talk To TT 21:12, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
