Sir William Osler Elementary is a public elementary school in Vancouver, British Columbia part of School District 39 Vancouver.

Sir William Osler Elementary is named after Sir William Osler, a Canadian-born physician. He is known as the Father of Modern Medicine. He was born in 1849 and died at the age of 70.

There is a MACC (Multi Age Cluster Class) program for grades 5-7. The MACC class will be moving to Edith Cavell Elementary School in the year of 2009 due to shortage of classroom space. Osler also has a Mandarin and a Chess, both with a Beginner and Intermediate classes.

Sir William Osler Elementary has a running club called the kilometer club before school starts (8:30). Runners who run a certain number of kilometres for the whole school year will get a ribbon every 25, 50, 100, 150, and 200 km. Those who reach 250 km will get an Osler Hat.

Osler also runs a competitive basketball team during the middle of the school year, coached by Nate and Allan. The Osler basketball team consists of two separate teams, Osler A and Osler B. Nate coaches the Osler A Team, and Alan coaches the Osler B Team. The basketball season starts during January and ends before spring break. During this period, the Osler basketball team plays with other schools including Jamieson, Van Horne, Henderson, DLG, Trudeau, Tecumseh, and Sexsmith. The Osler A team received 3rd place in the Zone Championships (with a defeat against Van Horne A and Trudeau). Van Horn A Team received 2nd in the Zone Championships, and Trudeau won 1st place in the Zone Championships. The VSB are thinking about elimating Trudeau because they won in an unfair way, so the VSB are trying to schedule a game against Van Horn A Team, and Osler A Team. The all stars include: Clayton Wong, Alistair Fung, Patrick Lin, Shelton Tsang, Kim Tsao, Raymond Chio, Brandon Tong, Alex Ngai, Eric Lin and Conrad Chan. Osler also runs other sports teams such as soccer, volleyball, and badminton Osler has had a badminton team also coached by Nate and Alan. The team's zone championships was held at Windmere. The Badminton team at Osler consisted of Brittany, Kimberly, Selina, Jessica, Vania, Megan, Amy, Malachi, Clay, Nicholas, Alexander, Christopher, Clayton, Conrad, Shelton, Hussain, Daniel, Patrick, Vic, Alistair, Eugene, David Chin, David Lee. Nate and Allen picked 14 members of the team to go to the Zone finals who were, Conrad, Eugene, Patrick, Jessica, Vania, Megan, Amy,Clay, Alexander,Clayton, Vic,Alistair, David lee, and David Chin. Congratulations to Alexander, and Jessica who was undefeated in the zone championship

Osler also has a great music program for all the students that love music. Osler has a choir and a band under the direction of Mrs. McGauley. The Osler choir has performed at Oakridge mall, the elementary festival, Amherst Hospital, and at Granville Island. The choir were at Granville Island for a choir competition, amazingly Osler came in 3rd place, and won $1,000 for Osler's music program! The band was performing in the Kiwanis festival. Osler received a ranking of gold, which is the highest rank a band could get. The Osler Band has also been invited to MusicFest Canada, in Ottawa. Osler and 10 other bands out of 65 bands were invited, and Osler was the only Elementary Band in BC who was invited. The band was gone from May 14th-18th, and got the highest ranking, gold, once again, (to see, go to www.musicfest.ca) from the professional direction of Mrs. E. McGauley. If it wasn't for her, the band wouldn't of went on this once in a lifetime trip.congratulations to Alex Ngai who won the Honour Roll Award. Mrs. McGauley would soon be preparing the band and choir for their last concert of the year, the traditional Outdoor Concert at Osler.
