Sir Thomas Parr

Sir Thomas Parr (c. 1483 - 12 November 1518) was an English nobleman from Kendal in Westmorland (now Cumbria). He is best known as the father of Queen Catherine Parr.

He was the son of Sir William Parr of Kendal and Elizabeth Fitzhugh. He married Maud Green (d. 1 September 1532), daughter of Sir Thomas Green. He was the father of:

He was knighted and was sheriff of Northamptonshire in 1509; he was master of the wards and comptroller to Henry VIII. He was buried in Blackfriars Church, London. His widow was buried beside him.
