Sir Joseph Ashe, 1st Baronet

Sir Joseph Ashe, 1st Baronet (1618 – 15 April 1686) was an English Whig politician and merchant.
The son of James Ashe and Grace Pitt, he was made a Baronet, of Twickenham in the County of Middlesex on 19 September 1660. Ashe was Member of Parliament (MP) for Downton from 1670 to 1681.
Around 1658, he married Mary Wilson, daughter of Robert Wilson. They had one son, James Ashe.
