Sir John Dyke Acland, 16th Baronet (born 13 May 1939), is the son of Sir Richard Acland, 15th Baronet and Anne Stella Alford.

He succeeded his father as 16th Baronet Acland, of Columb John on the latter's death on 24 November 1990. The Heir Apparent to the baronetcy is his eldest son.

He attended Clifton College, Magdalene College, Cambridge and the University of Wisconsin.

He married Virginia Forge, daughter of Roland Forge, on 9 September 1961, and has issue:

  • Dominic Dyke Acland (b.1962)
  • Dr. Piers Dyke Acland (b.1965)
  • Holly Dyke Acland (b.1972)
