Sir John Colquhoun (1595 – 1647) was the first Colquhoun Baronet of Nova Scotia, Canada. The Baronetage of the Colquhoun clan of Nova Scotia was established on 30 August 1625.
Colquhoun was born in Scotland in 1595. He was the son of Sir Alexander Colquhoun and Marion Stirling.
It is said that he married miss Montrose, but this seems to be a confusion with John, Sixteenth Lord Colquhoun, who married Lillias Graham, miss Montrose.
He died in Nova Scotia, Canada in 1647.
