Sir Hugh Acland, 6th Baronet (26 January 1697 – 29 July 1728), was the son of John Acland and Elizabeth Acland.

He succeeded his grandfather as 6th Baronet Acland, of Columb John on the latter's death on 9 March 1714. On his death in 1728 he was succeeded in the baronetcy by his eldest son.

He was Member of Parliament for Barnstaple, 1721-1727.

He married Cicely Wrothe, daughter of Sir Thomas Wrothe, 3rd Bt. and Mary Osbaldeston, (9 May 1721), and had issue:
- Sir Thomas Dyke Acland, 7th Baronet (1722-1785)
- Arthur Palmer Acland (b. c1728)
- John Acland (c1728-1796)
