Sir Hew Whiteford Dalrymple, 1st Baronet 1750-1830 was a British Army general and Governor of Gibraltar. He is principly remembered for negotiating the Convention of Sintra.[1]

He was Lieutenant Governor of Guernsey from 1796 to 1801 and Governor of Gibraltar from 1806 to 1808. In 1815 he was created a Baronet, of High Mark in the County of Wigtown.
