Sir Ganga Ram Hospital is a hospital in India, the original hospital was established by Sir Ganga Ram, a Civil Engineer in the British Government at Lahore in 1921. In 1946 the family of Sir Ganga Ram started a medical college by the name Balak Ram medical College named after a son of Sir Ganga Ram. After partition it was re-established by Sh. Dharma Vira, a Civil servant and who was a family member of Founder at New Delhi on 13th April,1954. The first Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru laid the foundation stone of the Hospital. The hospital is run by Board of Management, who are eminent consultants, under the over all guidance of the Trust Society.
