Sir Edward Acton, 3rd Baronet

Sir Edward Acton, 3rd Baronet (c. 1650 - 28 September 1716) was the son of Sir Walter Acton, 2nd Baronet, he succeeded to the baronetage upon the death of his father.
He married Mary Walter, and they had the following children:
- Sir Whitmore Acton, 4th Bt. (c 1677-1731/32)
- Edward Acton (b. bef. 1716)
- John Acton (b. bef. 1716)
He held the office of Sheriff of Shropshire from 1684 to 1685. He held the office of Recorder of Bridgnorth in 1701.
