Sir Edmund Bacon, 2nd Baronet

Sir Edmund Bacon, 2nd Baronet (c. 1570 – 10 April 1649) was an English politician.
The son of Sir Nicholas Bacon, 1st Baronet and Anne Butts, and older brother of Sir Butts Bacon, 1st Baronet, he succeeded to his father's baronetcy in 1624. Bacon was Member of Parliament (MP) for Eye from 1588 to 1589 and for Norfolk in 1593 and 1625.
Bacon was married to Philippa Wotton, daughter of the 1st Baron Wotton. Their marriage was childless.
He was buried in Redgrave in Suffolk and was succeeded by his younger brother Sir Robert Bacon, 3rd Baronet.
