Sir Archibald Acheson, 1st Baronet

Sir Archibald Acheson 1st Baronet (b.bef. 1595 - 9 September 1634) was a Scottish born Irish noble, the son of Captain Patrick Acheson.
He married (1) Agnes Vernor bef. 1610, with whom he had the following child:
- Sir Patrick Acheson, 2nd Baronet (c.1611-1638)
He married (2) Margaret Hamilton, daughter of Hon. Sir John Hamilton, in 1622, with whom he had the following child:
- Sir George Acheson, 3rd Baronet (1629-1685)
- He was invested as a knight in 1620
- He was Master in Chancery (Ireland) in 1621
- He was Lord of Session (Scotland) in 1627
- He was created 1st Baronet Acheson on 1st January 1628
- He was Secretary of State (Scotland) bef. 1634
