[edit] Wales articles

Perhaps I should have said "Croeso!", looking at your edits so far. Good stuff (although one minor point; you add a name to a category by adding the category name to the bottom of the article, not the article name to the category - I've fixed Jasper Griffin for you). Would you be interested in joining the Wales WikiProject? Let me know if there's anything I can help you with. Regards, and happy editing! BencherliteTalk 14:31, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

A further point, this time about John Ellis Williams - the article you had was virtually identical to the source mentioned in the article, making it a probable copyright violation. Please, in future, paraphrase rather than cut and paste. I have reworked the article as you'll see. Do you have any other sources, apart from the Academi source, that show him to be a notable person? No problem. I had a quick look for other online references to John Ellis Williams, only to realise pretty quickly that there are two authors of the same name, which makes distinguishing between them quite tricky for the unwary (particularly as dw'i ddim yn siarad llawr o Gymraeg!) Just a word of warning - the general guidance is that people should avoid creating / editing articles about themselves and people to whom they are close, because of the difficulty of remaining sufficiently detached. Have a read through the guidance on conflicts of interest for further information. In particular (and this is a general rule) avoid your own analysis of his life and works, and rely instead on what others have written already. Regards, BencherliteTalk 19:02, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Welsh language

Hello. I've reverted one of your edits to the article Welsh language, not because I thought it was wrong, but because you need to be more careful to respect the format of the article. You wrote words without spaces between them, and you deleted a parenthesis from the previous version of the article, leaving the other parenthesis stranded. Feel free to reinsert your additions to the article, but please be more careful with format issues from now on. Regards. FilipeS (talk) 17:22, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
