[edit] information about Olmert

The Wikipedia pages that you mention are mostly outside of the part of Wikiopedia that I read, so I can only give general advice. I think that direct quotes from an individual can always be suggested for mention in the Wikipedia article about that person. However, there are strict rules for adding content to Wikipedia articles about living persons. My suggestion is that you attempt to follow these steps:
1) Propose what you want to add on the talk page of Ehud Olmert.
2) Discuss the proposed changes with other editors of that article and listen to their suggestions for modifications and alternatives.
3) If that discussion does not satisfy you, move on to Wikipedia:Requests for comment.
4) If the request for comment does not improve the situation, see: Wikipedia:Resolving disputes.

[edit] Name change from Human rights in Islamic Republic of Iran to Human rights in Iran

Quote from [1]

Editor Koavf changed the article name from Human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran to Human rights in Iran without any discussion. I'm not at all sure it is a good idea. Much of the content of the article refers specifically to the IRI and not Iran generically. --BoogaLouie (talk) 17:38, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Please vote in survey over whether to have article title Human rights in Iran or Human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran

  • 23 November 2007 Sinooher changed the article name from Human rights in Iran to Human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran
  • Koavf changed the article name back to Human rights in Iran 9 March 2008,
  • Crazy Suit changed it back to Human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran a couple weeks later, 23 March 2008.

We should decide this once and for all and not what the name is as it makes a difference to the wording of the text in the article.
