[edit] Deletion review for List of Lifestyles
An editor has asked for a deletion review of List of Lifestyles. Since you closed the deletion discussion for this article, speedy-deleted it, or were otherwise interested in the article, you might want to participate in the deletion review.
Lifestyles (List): Yes I read all the background on this deletion and the consensus was that an all encompassing lifestyle list would be bad. I agree. So I came up with a proposal for criteria limiting the lifestyle list. I'd appreciate your consideration of my proposal. Thank you. Bejjinks (talk) 14:57, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] WikiFur
Regarding the recently deleted article WikiFur, would it be acceptable to recreate the article as a redirect to Furry fandom (or possibly another more appropriate article, though no other obvious possibilities come to mind)? I see a couple of purposes in this. For one thing, all the existing links to the article would not become redlinks, which some might view as an invitation to create the article. For another, having a redirect would make it easier to deal with any good-faith but misguided fans of the article who might try to recreate it as a real article. Toward that end I would also add some text below the redirect (either commented or not) stating that anyone wishing to recreate the article over the redirect should discuss it first (probably in Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Furry) and that any attempt to do so without discussion is subject to being reverted (I am reasonably confident that the article's proponents are not going to want to recreate it again unless/until it has substantially better references and notability than it has had so far). In addition it could include links to the existing AfDs. --Mwalimu59 (talk) 05:00, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Re: A humble request
- I'd like to ask you to help me out with implementing the Hawaiian language in the other Wikimedia projects, since I can't think of many other users who know or study Hawaiian and are active Wikipedians. There's a lot of fruit to be picked, and one user can't do all of the work :) If you'd like to help, holler back; if you're too busy, it's alright.
Well, I wouldn't consider myself an active Wikipedian anymore. But you may have known me as Kalani on the Hawaiian Wikipedia :) I disappeared, of course: my primary reason was that I don't know enough Hawaiian. My studies at school have only taught me basic patterns (the most complex, I think, were simple possessives like he mau lumi moe kō ka hale "the house has bedrooms" or ʻehiku āna moʻolelo "s/he has seven stories"), and Hawaiian language grammar resources are hard to find online.
I'm sorta busy right now, even though I'm on summer break, but I suppose I could find the time to help out a bit with my (limited) knowledge of ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi :) Kal [talk] 10:02, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] June newsletter update
Hi. Please help expand the Hawaiian language update in the WikiProject Hawaiʻi June newsletter. Thanks. Viriditas (talk) 13:33, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, now that I think about it, it would be great if you could update the newsletter every month with some aspect related to the Hawaiian language. Viriditas (talk) 14:53, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Bratwurst Glöckl
You deleted the article Bratwurst Glöckl citing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bibi the Child-Strangler as the reason. What on earth does a bratwurst restaurant in the centre of Munich have to do with a legend about a witch who kills children? JIP | Talk 20:25, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] AfD deletions
Just a note to say you forgot to close Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Vanessa Sotto after you deleted the respective page. Regards, Rudget (Help?) 12:20, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry about that...thanks. Singularity 16:48, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for fixing my error, I did realize I had a double support. Antonio Lopez (talk) 13:04, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] AFD
Hi. Regarding Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Harry Potter Fan Zone, the subject is not a regular Harry Potter fansite, but one that has won a fansite award by the author of the book series. Thus, could you please reopen the debate so I could present a keep rationale. I can see a lot of people have voted delete, but I'd like to vote on the off chance that someone may reconsider. Sorry to incovenience you, but I was unaware of the debate when it was live. Would a relist be possible? Thank you, --PeaceNT (talk) 13:21, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- That doesn't seem a viable option, given that DRV focuses mostly on admin's procedural errors, and every participant of the AfD had voted delete. I believe in general AfDs can be relisted if the original discussions do not give the whole picture of the subject, which I feel this is the case. And since DRV isn't AfD round 2, I'd consider DRV a less proper venue than AfD for this situation. Could you please again consider relisting so I could voice my opinion and get wider input from the community? :) Thanks, --PeaceNT (talk) 11:59, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] WP:HAU
Hello yet again. I regretfully inform you that the bot we were using to update the user status at Wikipedia:Highly Active Users, SoxBot V, was blocked for its constant updating. With this bot out of operation, a patch is in the works. Until that patch is reviewed and accepted by the developers, some options have been presented to use as workarounds: 1) Qui monobook (not available in Internet Explorer); 2) User:Hersfold/StatusTemplate; 3) Manually updating User:StatusBot/Status/USERNAME; or 4) Not worry about it and wait for the patch to go through, which hopefully won't take long. If you have another method, you can use that, too. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Useight (talk) 22:31, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Drill n Bass article deletion?
You silly person! Drill 'n' Bass is a legitimate genre of electronic music and important in the development of many styles that are around today. You fail! - 211.30.227.30 (talk) 12:24, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
