This is an interesting entry on a term that's completely new for me. A phrase that I have from time to time noticed before (and one that turned up in at least one article I translated - on the early Borgward Hansa) is ponton format, which into English I tend to translate (maybe too loosely?) as 'three box' form. If anyone knows enough, a line on the difference or sameness between single bow and ponton would maybe pad out the entry and help the understanding. Please. Or am I missing something here?
