There's a press citation for the mee pok man (how the noodle stall has been there for more than 40 years), but none about his death. If anyone wants to add it back, it's: "Where SCGS goes, the mee pok man goes too", Yvonne Chew, 23 May 1994, Straits Times. gssq (talk) 17:50, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
