Talk:Singapore Airlines Flight 380

[edit] suggestions
The title of this article is SQ 380 but the article is about the A380. Perhaps more should be discussed about why the flight was special. I read that everyone got gifts, passengers bought their tickets on ebay, there was a ceremony, etc. Regarding the flight now, maybe someone can think of something notable about the flight. - I agree with Archtransit. Well, this is more about Airbus A380 and SQ. Hope there will be details about the flight. Richard Quest from CNN was onboard and so were others from major media companies. Terence (talk) 10:30, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] SQ380 is gone
SQ380 was a one-time stunt -- the plane is currently flying as SQ220/221. Jpatokal (talk) 00:46, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
- There are no regulations saying an encyclopedia cannot write about objects which no longer exists, so I fail so see what the problem is.--Huaiwei (talk) 14:28, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

- My comment was written in reference to an earlier version of the article, which implied that flight number 380 is still in use. Jpatokal (talk) 04:29, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] SQ221/SQ222
The A280 flights, according to Singapore Airlines website "Book a Flight" section[1], used flight number SQ222 instead of SQ220. I am going to correct the article, but is there any references about A380 flight ever used SQ220 before? Both of the numbers are for SYN-SIN flights. timdream (talk) 23:29, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
