[edit] Sindri as a nickname

Originally, sindri was a nickname meaning "shining", "glowing", "sparkling"; as seen in the nickname of the skald who originated, among other works, the Hákonardrápu - Guttormur sindri. Guttormur sindri was the skald of both Halfdan the Black and Harald Fairhair. SWA (talk) 19:19, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
