Sinotrans (HK) Shipping Limited (commonly referred to as Sinotrans)(SEHK: 0598) is one of the largest liner shipping companies in Asia. It is based in Hong Kong, People's Republic of China. In terms of liner shipping operations Sinotrans is primarily an intra-Asian carrier linking China with Korea and Japan, although the company also offers full range of logistics services covering not just the maritime transportation of containerised and bulk cargo but also road, rail, pipeline and air transport. The company is currently ranked as the 41st largest container carrier in the world in terms of slot capacity.
