[edit] Career

Sinju started his professional career at the age of 15. He started in the game Jedi Knight II (JK2) where he played for the team 'Insane Force', which was one of the top 'force fighting' teams of all time. Hevener later broke into the American Counter Strike (CS) players scene with the teams "charge" and "iFearz", but he made a name for himself with the team "nGc" or "New Global Conflict".

Hevener, along with long-time teammate Ali, created many teams together that played in various leagues. He is a 3 time TeamWarfare League champion in Jedi Knight II with Insane Force. He has also played in the CAL-Intermediate and Open playoffs in Counter-Strike and Counter-Strike:Source.

Jedi Knight II soon died off and he never made the switch to the game Jedi Academy, because many players thought it was unbalanced in skill and was considered a 'newbie' game. Unless there is a new generation of Jedi Knight games (with a similar play style of JK2), he will not return to the game.

He has gone under many handles in his eSports career. Sinju has been his original handle, but while playing Jedi Knight II, he used the handle 'CloWn' for quite sometime, in which he made a name for himself.. He has also used the names Azreal, Ju1ce, and Spiral throughout Counter-Strike.

[edit] Techniques

In Jedi Knigit II, he has mastered the pullkick and gripkick. As many old-schoolers know, gripkick is one of the deadliest moves in JK2. However as Jedi Knight II modernized, the Force Regeneration time was set to 0. This allowed players to regen force very quickly. Many players then started to use the light side force power 'Absorb' technique, which they could not be pulled or gripkicked for a certain amount of time. This was known as 'absorb whoring'. Sinju, and many other old-school players of Insane Force, were able to take out the Absorb players by still using gripkick and timing their attacks right.

[edit] Personal life

As of November 2006, Hevener has retired from Professional Gaming. He lives in Oregon with his wife and his dog Kakoa. He casually plays Counter-Strike:Source in Public servers, but is now into World of Warcraft.
