Singleton is a railway station on the Main North Line of New South Wales, Australia, situated approximately 200 kilometres north of Sydney and 74 kilometres north-west of Newcastle.[1] CityRail operates diesel self propelled railcars through Singleton as part of its Hunter Line regional service from Newcastle, and it is a stopping point for countryLink services. It serves the town of Singleton, New South Wales. It opened in 1863 as a terminus for the Main Northern Line from Newcastle, bringing great prosperity to the town before the line was extended further north in 1869. Historically, the next inbound is Belford, however this station was closed on 4 September 2005.
Singleton Railway Station is listed on the Register of the National Estate.[2]

Currently there are with four services to and from Newcastle on weekdays (with two on weekends) and one to and from Sydney (operated by CountryLink).

- Hunter Lines - regional services to Newcastle; regional services to Muswellbrook and Scone.
- Countrylink North Western - country services to Sydney (1 per day); country services to Armidale and Moree via Werris Creek (1 per day).
