Singapore style noodles

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Singapore style noodles is a stir fry of rice noodles in a spicy sauce, typically curry. It usually comprises small slices of chicken, beef, and/or shrimp.

[edit] Cultural origin

The dish is exclusively found in American Chinese cuisine. It is important to note that Singapore style noodles is not a cultural product of Singapore. Its naming may have been based on the stereotype that Singapore cuisine is generally spicy.
