Singapore Institute of Architects

The Singapore Institute of Architects (Abbreviation: SIA; Chinese: 新加坡建筑师学会) is a voluntary organisation based in Singapore which represents local registered architects. Currently headed by Rita Soh Siow Lan from RDC Architects Pte Ltd, its main objectives include
- To study and promote the art, science and practice of architecture.
- To represent, express and give effect to the views and opinions of architect on architectural matters of all kinds.
- To preserve professional integrity through a Professional Code of Conduct.
- To serve and promote the interests of architects in Singapore.
- To advance architectural education, training, practice and research.
- To recognise and reward architectural merit.
Besides registered architects, graduates holding the Bachelor of Arts (Architectural Studies) from the National University of Singapore, as well as undergrads in NUS or other recognised universities are also accepted as members.
